Position: Data Architect w/ Big Data/ Hadoop experience

Duration: 12+ month/ Contract

Location: Chicago, IL

Interview: Phone and In Person

NO H1, MUST BE USC, GC or EAD-GC

MUST HAVE:

• 3+ years of Big Data experience

• 7-10 years of Data Warehousing & ETL experience including:

  • Database storage

  • ETL processes

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field

• Hadoop experience

• 3+ Years technical experience with Big Data visualization and reporting applications such as Tableau, Qlikview, Business Objects, Exago, or PowerBI

• Excellent written & verbal communication skills including:

  • Able to clearly articulate pros and cons of various technologies and platform

  • Able to explain the technical work in plain language that non-technical leaders can understand

• Able to benchmark systems, analyze system bottlenecks and propose solutions to eliminate them

• Experience building scalable, repeatable solutions for data acquisition and consumption

• Experience writing data architecture documentation

• Experience performing detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments and use this in designing the solution

• Experience working in a fast-paced agile development environment
