Certified ColdFusion Developer

Job description:

 

• This position is responsible for providing new as well existing application web development, application data arrival and data transfer support for various lines of business
• This role requires interaction and collaboration with business customers, technologist, and developers. The candidate must be comfortable working within a team environment as well as work independently without supervision. Also, possess good written and oral communications skills
• Possess experience with implementation and resolution of security vulnerabilities is a plus. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, seasoned application developer interested in joining the team
• Must have strong ColdFusion and structured query language (SQL) skills
• Experience with JavaScript, JQuery, PL/SQL, HTML, CSS
• In addition, experience with SSIS packages and new development Content Management system
• Experience with Windows (OS) is required
• Candidates must hold Macromedia ColdFusion MX 7 Certification

 

Experience with the following software skills is required:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related equivalent work experience in an Information System position
• Minimum of 8 yrs. experience with ColdFusion application development, as well as writing queries and stored procedures. Should have ColdFusion 7 Certification and above
• JavaScript and JQuery
• PL/SQL
• HTML and CSS
• Rational ClearCase and ClearQuest
• MS Visio
• 2-4 yrs. experience with multi-tier application environments and architectures
• 3-5 yrs. of experience with MS SQL Server – 2008 and higher
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration (SSIS) software a plus
• Experience with Agile methodology desired.
• 1-3 yrs. experience with Windows (Server) OS
• Ability to assist or lead medium to large scale development efforts
• Understanding of security and administration best practices
• Good communication skills are essential and technical writing skills are valued
• The candidate must have the ability to work within a team as well as independently without supervision
• Must demonstrate an ability to analyze problems, identify their causes and present findings to others as needed
• Organizing and planning skills necessary to work independently

• JavaScript and JQuery
• PL/SQL
• HTML and CSS
• Rational ClearCase and ClearQuest
