Tier II / Tier III NOC Techs

 

REQUIRED

·       CMTS (Cable Modem Termination System)

·       DOCSIS (Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification)

 

NICE TO HAVE

 

·       Cisco and Juniper experience

·       Route / Switch experience

·       Optical experience

·       Network Management experience with Solarwinds, Netcool, WhatsUp

·       Security / Firewall experience

 

What Your Background Should Look Like

 

·       3+ years working in a 24x7 Network Operations Center or Technical Support Environment in a troubleshooting and provisioning role supporting Cable, DOCSIS, CCAPS and HFC Access networks from Cisco.

·       2+ years working in an operational phone queue while managing inbound trouble reports

 

You Will Be a Perfect Fit If You Have

 

·       Cisco and Juniper troubleshooting and support

·       Route / Switch configuration, troubleshooting, and support

·       Optical configuration, troubleshooting, and support

·       Network Management experience with Solarwinds, Netcool, WhatsUp

·         Security / Firewall experience
