Our Client is seeking a qualified Microsoft Certified Engineer Support Advisor possessing at least 10 years of Microsoft systems requirements support. This position requires an advanced knowledge of industry standard desktop and server operating systems. Must be an expert at analyzing system requirements and developing design alternatives.
Job Responsibilities:
Include the following, other duties may be assigned.
- Draft required engineering input to the Installation Design Plan (IDP) to support procurement, configuration management, and certification and accreditation of proposed systems- Develop functional process diagrams for Windows client/server services.
- Provide Windows engineering and installation support focusing on the design, implementation and maintenance of Windows client/server services.
- Research and analyze emerging Windows technologies, techniques, and protocols and make enhancement recommendations.
- Design, architect and implement a Microsoft SQL server high availability environment.
- Manage and support Active Directory and Exchange mail server environment.
- Manage and support VMware, SAN storage, backups, and patch management.
- Responsible for management and maintenance of Windows servers in physical and VMware environment.
- Maintain, monitor, and tune production system and applications performance.
- Serve as a technical resource for existing and new projects, providing guidance on projects.
- Contribute in the architecture design, deployment and development of IT services and associated processes and procedures.
- Support Windows servers in physical and VMware environment.
- Maintain the necessary project plans and documentation for all system builds, modifications, and implementations.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of current infrastructure and future trends.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or equivalent.
- Possess extensive knowledge of Microsoft systems support.
- Possess advanced desktop and server operating systems and office automation software knowledge.
- The ability to troubleshoot and remediate issues within large, complex solutions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain IT concepts to non-IT professionals.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated and reliable.
- Must be able to work effectively independently, or as a member of a team.
The Screening Process:
- At least one onsite technical screening with FCDC Director of Computer Systems, Austin Chen.
