Project Manager w/ Bigdata or Hadoop

• Manage program management activities for various IT projects
• Manage multiple projects
• Very strong communication, relationship management, conflict management, presentation skills
• Very strong organization skills
• Engage multiple teams and stakeholders from intake to delivery
• Present to senior management solutions, status and program plans
• Focus on big picture and the program (less on the project) and manage vision and solutions at the program level
• Hands on with technology and solve business problems using the solutions available to the organization
• Present solutions, technology vision, roadmap to senior stakeholders
• Development in an Agile methodology with strong team work
• Budgeting, program tracking, dashboard
• Ensure timely and quality delivery as per release plan.
• Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements.
• Participate in meetings/walkthrough session/group meetings to understand business problem/objective of project
• Translates concepts into practice.
• Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies & leverage them to execute on the use cases given to solve business problems
• Acts as a resource for others with less experience.
• Build a relationship with project stakeholders/ business partners.
• Ensure compliance with organization and project defined standards and processes
• Supporting existing application on Production.
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in information systems project management and program management
• 5+ years in management role presenting to senior management and stakeholders
• Staff / Team Leadership experience
• Experience in relationship management, stakeholder management
• Very strong presentation and communication skills
• Very strong in translating concepts into professional power points for communication
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
• Experience with Big Data like Hadoop and Database technology experience
