Position: .Net Developer

Core Responsibilities
Ideal candidate for this role should have a track record of successfully developing product feature enhancements following Agile methodology and Scrum framework.
The role requires close collaboration with Program Manager, On Technical Lead and a product development team of approximately 7 to 10 members including software developers, testers, performance engineer and business analyst.
Role will be accountable for technical design, development and testing of customer-facing client Global Network applications.
Experience and Skills required for this position include:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
· 4 to 5+ years professional experience in application development
· Knowledge of Agile methodology and Scrum framework for software development (Please mention years of experience in each skill and expertise level)
· Experience with Agile tools like Rally, Jira ((Please mention years of experience in each skill and expertise level)
· Experience leading a multi-release agile software development project
· Strong Object Oriented Programming skills in C#/ASP.NET (Please mention exact years of experience and expertise level)
· Expertise in web client technologies including HTML5/CSS/JavaScript/JQuery/AJAX/JASON (Please mention years of experience in each skill and expertise level)
· Knowledge of database management systems including Oracle 11g, MongoDB or similar DBMS (Please mention years of experience in each skill and expertise level)
· Basic project management capabilities with a drive to meet deadlines and demonstrate results
· Strong communication skills with ability to interface with Product and IT management
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
· Experience working with source control tools like SVN, GitHub, BitBucket (Please mention years of experience in each skill and expertise level)
Key responsibilities include:
· Participation in Agile teams meetings including daily scrum, technical design reviews and sprint commitments
· Participating in sprint and release planning activities along with project and product managers
· Analyzing and sizing business requirements
· Providing options to technical lead for implementation of features with associated pros, cons and risks
· Defining technical requirements needed to fulfill business features or maintain quality, stability, scalability and standards
· Working on tasks assigned in each sprint to ensure efficient utilization
· Ensuring agile milestones and project schedules are met
· Resolving roadblocks and escalating to management when appropriate
· Supporting QA activities including unit, functional, integration testing
· Collaborating with Architects to devise solutions, perform technology assessments, and follow standards and processes
System Analysis and Design
· Translates business and functional requirements into technical design to meet stated business needs.
· Develops and designs internal component and adjacent system interfaces to ensure inter-operability.
· Participates in technical architecture definitions to align solutions with business needs.
Design and Development of Applications
· Delivers application solutions to meet business and non-functional requirements.
· Analyze, design, code, test, correct, and document large and complex programs to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
Defines and Produce Integration Builds
· Work with technical lead to build processes for target environments to create software.
· Verifies integration test specifications to ensure proper testing.
· Creates integration plans to support systems interface testing.
Monitors Emerging Technology Trends
· Monitors the industry to gain knowledge and understand emerging technologies.
· Identifies new and emerging hardware and software technologies and products to maintain industry competitiveness.
· Maintains awareness of emerging technology to ensure applicability for the assigned application area.
Maintenance and Support
· Help in problem resolution to identify, recommend, and implement process improvements.
· Monitors and records application defects to ensure systems integrity.
· Coordinates efforts across interfacing systems and service providers to resolve system issues.
· Drives business continuity and disaster recovery design and planning activities to establish agreed upon requirements.
Collaboration with Team Members
· Provides input to processes e.g. Software development, Career Development, Training etc.
· Contributes to evaluations, to encourage continuous performance improvement.
· Works closely with team to meet established performance levels to achieve individual and team goals.
