Job Description:
Software developer to help support and enhance our team's accounting analytic suite of applications. Our applications runs at various layers: starting from our lowest level calculators, written in C++, to our top layer reporting apps , written in various languages including PL/SQL and Sharepoint. The ideal candidate will be proactive and independent and possess most of the skills below:
Required:
Intermediate C++ Skills (including Boost and STL) with greater than three years' experience.
Proficiency on a Linux Platform (simple shell scripts)
Intermediate SQL skills
A desire to learn to the underlying business concepts
Desirable:
Java Experience
PL/SQL
Experience in Fixed Income
Experience with Accrual Accounting
Understanding of basic quantitative concepts as it relates to finance , such as TVM, compounding.
Any Excel Experience is a plus
