Senior Python Developer

San Jose, CA 

6+ Months/ Contract 

Telephone and In Person

We're looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer  with STRONG interest in DevOps with the following qualifications:

Required:

• Strong programming skills in Python, Shell and Bash with Python being the primary language.
• AWS experience a must
• Experience with Linux containerization (Docker) and containerization frameworks such as Mesos, Marathon, Chronos and/or Kubernetes
• Exposure to several of the following infrastructure components: Cassandra, Mongo, ElasticSearch, Kafka, Zookeeper, MySQL, Spark
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills; ability to debug complex systems
• Strong understanding of the Linux Operating System at the Kernel Level and networking protocols.
• Experience in running and operating high available infrastructure systems. 
• Experienced in developing build and deployment automation systems. 

 

Nice-to-have:

• Experienced in administering Grafana, building dashboards and developing plugins.
