MUST HAVE:

·         Angular JS 2.0 (REST & JSON)

·         JavaScript

·         HTML5

·         TDD (junit)

·         CSS

·         Agile experience

 

Job Description, Required Skills, Education, Experience:

Candidate will be working on a new initiative with includes revamping TDAs offer management system.

Qualified candidates will have 5-8 years of experience with UI Development (JAVA) in the financial services sector and experience and understanding with how the front end of the system communicates with the back end of the system. Candidates who also have marketing applications will also be a fit for this position – the system TDA is operating includes trades and, commissions, TDA is not building a trading platform or system, but are listening to the trading platform and providing offers to customers based on trading activity in a web-based format.

 

We do not need a solutions arch or a lead developer, we also do not need someone to act as the product owner or as a BA or a SCRUM master or Data architect or DBA or QA. We have those roles covered off on. Please keep your efforts focused on the UI Developer with 5-8 years of experience.

 

Preferred Skills, Education, Experience:

Qualified candidates will have the following skill set/abilities/experience

·         JAVA - front end development (UI)

·         Angular js or Node js

·         MVC Pattern

·         Dependency Injection

·         Principles of SOLID

·         Framework awareness or development

·         AOP (Aspect Oriented Programming)

·         SOAP or Rest based services

·         Spring and Spring Boot

·         NO Sql databases like Mongo DB, Cassandra

·         J2EE

·         Grails or Groovy

·         Python

·         Test Driven Development

·         Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD)

·         Jenkins

·         Sonar

·         Gradle/Maven

·         Messaging Queues (MQ)

·         Angular JS – web-based platform

·         Plus NodeJS

·         Latest version of Oracle

·         Unix/Linux – Shell Scripting - all boxes are Linux.

·         Test driven develop experience – JSAN and JUnits – this is the concept they are trying to deploy.

 

Soft skills

·         Candidates MUST communicate well. They must understand business language, be able to absorb what the stake holders are saying and be able to speak with the technical teams

·         Must be a team player - the team is new and was created to support this initiative. There are 5 resources currently in place on this team, functioning in a variety of roles.

·         4 people for 2nd interview – Webex or in Person

·         No long winded candidates - manager is looking for candidates who can get straight to the point

·         Candidates must listen well and ask questions as it relates to the technology and suggest alternatives and solutions.
