1) J2EE Analyst
Location: Parsippany, NJ
Duration: 3-6 months CTH
Description
· Demonstrate advanced technical skills in Java/J2EE technologies
· General understanding of activities across the Application Development discipline
· Demonstrate solid understanding of contemporary architectures, design patterns, best practices, and computer programming techniques, such as Modular and Object-Oriented Programming
· Demonstrate excellent analytical, logical reasoning and problem solving skills
· Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Demonstrate excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
· Ability to lead medium to large functional teams
· Must be a self-starter and should be able to initiate and complete assignments with little to no supervision
· Willing to make commitments and ability to consistently meet timelines
· Ability to consistently provide accurate effort estimates for work
· Demonstrate solid coaching and mentoring skills
· Strong knowledge of various SDLC methodologies and their respective advantages and trade-offs
· Demonstrate solid knowledge of latest trends in Web and Mobile computing technologies
Requirements:
Job experience:
· Minimum of 8 years of IT experience in an application development environment
· Experience leading a multi-site and/or off-shore development team
· Experience working on a large scale enterprise wide projects
· Experience with various software estimation techniques
· 4+ years of experience in performing high and low level project analysis and design
· 3+ years of experience using Unified Modeling Language (UML) and UML tools
· 3+ years of experience in Web service integration
· Salesforce and Agile experience will be a great plus.
2)Sr. AWS /Windows Systems Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85029
Duration: 3+ months W2
Additional Responsibilities
· Strategy & Planning
· Maintains expertise in the various Cloud computing platform automation technologies and is able to articulate the strengths and weaknesses of each offering.
· Participates in Cloud Decision Making Board – helping to define the tools and technologies used in automating our environment.
· Participates in ITSM definition and management
· Assures that activities align with business needs and objectives
· Works with Architecture and Operations to develop a comprehensive Disaster Recovery plan.
Operational Management
· Expert in troubleshooting and resolving complex problems.
· Advanced skills in designing continuous integration systems.
· Develop metrics and standards for infrastructure component performance.
· Technical expertise in configuration management, testing and technical documentation.
· Monitor partner performance, escalating when performance falls below an acceptable threshold.
· Develop strategies for motivating partners to provide above average service.
· Ensures change management processes are followed
· Requirements:
· Position Requirements/Key Competencies/Skills
· Be a AWS champion - work closely with other internal teams to build security, reliability, and scalability into the development lifecycle.
· Dive deep into the software stack to troubleshoot as needed.
· 8+ years as an IT professional, with experience leading virtual technology teams.
· Strong working knowledge and technical competence of current and advanced IT technologies and methodologies, AWS services, virtualization, Windows, advanced scripting
· Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
· Strong expertise with virtualization (VMware preferred), servers, storage, networking and security
· Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
· Must be able to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations, including ability to handle objections and disputes to satisfactory results.
· Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by internal and external partners
· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks across multiple initiatives is critical.
· Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
· Ability to conform to shifting priorities in stakeholder requests
· Strong written and oral communication skills.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
Travel
· Some travel may be required for co-locating sessions with various external partners.
