Node.JS Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Duration: 6+ months/ Contract

Phone and In Person

Required Skills:

8-10 years of overall IT experience

• 4 years of hands-on Node.JS experience
• Resume must clearly show technical (project/tasks) details of their Node experience (instead of generic claims).
• A well-rounded team member, who can not only develop but advise. Must be able to provide consultative input. For example, why would they pick an approach/technology over another?
• Experience with design and implementation of scalable enterprise solutions focused on efficient backend development and integration
• Expertise with Express framework and preferably, the Loopback API framework
• The planned portal development will need to call multiple APIs for different services, including JIRA, Bitbucket, Cloudvolt, Xebia Labs, Artifactory, Jenkins, Confluence. However, candidate must not be dependent on the vendor APIs, and should be capable of creating their own APIs (using Express/Loopback) to call these respective components. Strongly desired knowledge of APIs for the above services AND should know the best way to create a custom API for them.
