ETL / Datawarehouse Testers

 

NOTE: Need only ****ETL TESTERS****

 

The roles will break out as follows:

 

One or two candidates will focus more on data population and reporting.

They should have experience with Business Objects (known at here as BOBJ) and ETL.

The other candidate(s) will focus more on business rules and data population.

They should have experience with Java and ETL.

 

Top 3

 

1.      Strong data focus, so candidates must have significant experience with SQL. Candidates should be able to run and write advanced SQL queries, as well as build test scripts from scratch using SQL and QTP.

2.      Significant Quality Center experience (for test plans, test cases, test scripts, etc). Understand how to set it up so traceability is established and maintained and so changes are reflected in metrics.

3.      Excellent verbal and written communication.

4.      Have an open, "I can learn new tools and technology" attitude. There is a lot of training opportunity in this role and you have potential to grow.

 

Preferred

 

1.      Successful traits: self-directed,  uses common sense and gets along well with everyone

2.      Team is transitioning from a more traditional methodology to an Agile approach, so Agile experience is a plus
