.Net Developer with Mainframe/Cobol experience

 

Description

 

·         This contractor position will be used to fulfill the increased duties and responsibilities within the Child Care business area to keep pace with higher demand for specialized IT services.

·         With the rollout of YoungStar, which includes the provision of technical assistance and making formal rating of providers, new data collection efforts that cover an array of teacher credentials plus child care quality indicators are needed.

·         Making these data elements available to stakeholders means building web interfaces for data management is a critical job function within BITS that requires experience that goes beyond normal developer skill sets.

·         There is a need for a highly skilled technical resource that can architect, design, develop and maintain web applications.

·         Project duties will be to maintain and enhance applications using ASP.Net web forms as well as ASP.Net MVC. In-depth knowledge of SQL, XML and web services is also required.

·         The person in this position will act as a lead analyst, working directly with customers to define requirements and design, code, test, and implement applications changes and enhancements and new applications.

Cobol

Crystal Reports

JCL

SQL

Execution and Documentation of Regression, System & User Acceptance Test Plans, Test Scenarios
