Job Title: Sr. Business Data Analyst

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Duration: 12 months + (Contract with potential for extension)

 

Top Desired Skills: Business Analyst, Data Analytics, Agile Scrum, Retail Industry, Supply Chain (Nice to have)

 

Job Description: We are targeting an experience Business Data Analyst with at least 7+ years of experience and retail industry experience. An ideal candidate with have Supply Chain project experience as well.

·          Support a Supply Chain Analytics project. Requires a Senior level BA that has experience with data analytics projects and understands the impact of the business process on data (not just a data analyst role)

·          Elicit, analyze and document business requirements.

·          Collaborate with the appropriate teams to build the business case/ project justification and identify risks associated with each requirement.

·          Large scale enterprise client experience. Ideally with in retail.

·          Experience following Agile Scrum methodology. Experience participating in stand up meetings and sprint sessions.

·          Responsible for eliciting the business needs of the customer to help determine solutions to complex business problems.

·          Responsible for requirements development and requirements management in accordance to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices. The Business Analyst will act as the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support  teams.  This particular role will focus on the Merchandising/Pricing line of business.

·          Ability to plan and execute strategic initiatives to take complex projects from vision to reality. The Business Analyst has in-depth knowledge of a line of business and/or is experienced in the industry best practices.

·          Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to all levels within the organization.
