Position: Foglight Consultant

Location: Windsor, CT

Duration: Full-Time

Total Experoence: 10+

 

Primary skills: Foglight Consultant, Foglight Federator/Federated Architecture and HA configurations is a must

Job description:

7+ years of experience in working on Application Performance Management solutions – including deployment as well as operational.
At least 2+ years working experience on Foglight.
Experience with Foglight Federator/Federated Architecture and HA configurations is a must.
 Some knowledge on HPOV, SiteScope, Introscope, HP NNMi, and Aternity would be nice to have.
 Good working experience on atleast 2-3 Operating Systems such as Windows, Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX etc.
Application Development experience in either Java or .NET.
 Deep technical knowledge on Performance Management metrics related to OS metrics, Database metrics, Application Server metrics. Basic DBA knowledge will be nice to have.
 Strong communications skills - ability to clearly articulate and communicate complex ideas and solutions with project managers and technical staff Able to present to and connect to senior technical staff.
Superb writing skills - able to provide concise and structured recommendations for solutions as well as explain key solutions in depth
Superior technical hands-on skills – be able to hands-on and quickly assess an environment, troubleshoot and fix problems quickly
 Excellent planning and deployment skills – be able to quickly deploy a new implementation and deliver results.
