Position: Java Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: 12+ Month/ Contract 

Interview: Phone and In Person

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for creating user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining Java based components and interfaces.

Experience

• Experience in financial services or captive auto finance companies is a strong plus
  
• Experience in scorecard/dashboard is a strong plus
  
• Ability to integrate with large teams, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills
  
• Application development experience in large scale enterprise environments is essential
  
• Intermediate to expert knowledge required in the following areas: System development lifecycle, System development processes and method, Testing methods, including unit and integration testing (JUnit, JMock), Utilization of software configuration management tools and Code deployment and code versioning tools
  

Experience in the following: 

• JAVA, J2EE, EJB, JavaBeans, JavaScript ES6, servlets, JDBC, struts, spring, Hibernate. 
  
• IBM RAD, Eclipse. HTML 5, CSS 3, AngularJS, Apache, AJAX. 
  
• XML, XPath, DOM/SAX Parser, JSON. 
  
• RMI, SOAP, REST. WebSphere, WSAD, MQ Series. 
  
• DB2, strong SQL. FTP/SFT. 
  
• Big data is a strong plus. 
  
• Adobe Flex is a strong plus. 
  
• UNIX (AIX), UNIX Scripting is a plus. 
  
• COBOL is a plus. 
  
• Maven, Gradle is preferred
  

Skills

• Problem-solving skills and critical thinking are essential to effectively conduct the required tasks
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking
  
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously when necessary
