{PBJFlorida} Welcome Host Families needed for 2 Ukrainian Students

Dear Friends,

Yakim and Ihor are both finalists in the U.S. State Departments Merit Scholarship "FLEX" program.  I am searching for host families in the Winter Park and Edgewater Districts.  They are both musicians, love to be involved in volunteer activities.  Yakim enjoys fixing cars with his dad and his teachers consider him a "wizard" with computers.  A WELCOME HOST FAMILY commits to 3 months so that the students can be enrolled in school, involved in activities and begin to make friends.

This is funded by the U.S. Government--families are asked to volunteer to be an ambassador to an ambassador.  You are also eligible for a deduction on income tax of $50/month for each month the student lives with you.  It's a great opportunity to bring the world to your community and build understanding across national boundaries.  The students receive a stipend, health insurance, and funds for incidental school expenses.

Please call immediately if you are interested in learning more!  (407-678-4693/321-439-1105  sbpeterson71@gmail.com

Blessings,
Sue Peterson
