Title: Sr. Java Developer

Location: RTP (Durham), NC                  

Duration: 12+ Months

Start Date: Immediate


Must Have Skills:

The Sr. Java Developer developer must have

·         At least 7 years developing with Java 1.5 /Java 1.6

·         Experience with JBoss implementations, as we will be moving from JBoss version 4 to JBoss version 5

·         Experience with SOAP based web service as a PUBLISHER as well as a CONSUMER. We will be building, deploying and testing the web services.

·         JUnit or any other unit testing framework experience

·         Experience or willing to develop code in an agile environment.

Note: The candidates must have some experience with publishing/writing the web services. Experience using Web Services only as CONSUMER is not enough.


Desired Skills:

·         Experience with Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) is a plus.

·         Experience with different JEE frameworks (Struts, Spring, Hibernate etc.)

·         Experience with Anthillpro deployment tool


Project Details:

This project will migrate 7 web services from a standard JBoss 4 environment (without security) to a JBoss 5 environment using SAML security. The 7 web services have been in production for years and are used by over 40 production applications.
