Get Well Earned Sick Days.

Today, I will be one of many heading to the Orange County Commission hearing to advocate for earned sick time for workers  in Orange County. Over 50,000 voters gave their signatures to put this on the November ballot.  Orange County Commissioners are trying to sneak in  a poision pill that would undermine this policy and our ability to decide.

You can still click here to send a message to  Orange County Commissioners on Earned Sick Time!

Or

Come to the Public Hearing to voice your support for Earned Sick Time:

When: Today, Tuesday

Hearing starts at 1:30pm

Come at Noon to reserve seats!

Where: Orange County Administration Building

Orange County Administrative Building
201 S Rosalind Ave
Orlando, FL 32801

Parking is available on the street, in the parking garage, and at a surface lot near the tag office.

I urge you to make your voice heard anyway you can with with Orange County Commissioners. Give them a  call, email them, send a facebook message or simple join us today at 1pm.  We need to make sure they understand that voters should make the choice on this policy and not big business special interests.

In Solidarity,
Denise Diaz
