Yes, thank you, Abhinav. I was at a conference in Estes park and one of the speakers, a Shamanist, (Like Black Elk a Native American mystic) talked about unified vision (All that is, is holy") versus dualistic which divides man from animals and from God. Of course Hinduism is on the unified path.
Om Shanti!

A Hindu will say, in her profound meditation, that  "All that is, is  holy". So, will fully agree with Black Elk's observation.

With high regards,

CHRIS HEDGES' COLUMNS
Life Is Sacred
By Chris Hedges — The giddy, money-drenched, choreographed carnival in Tampa and the one coming up in Charlotte divert us from the real world—the one steadily collapsing around us.

Yes, I read it this morning too. I hate to say that Hedges says many things
that have been on my mind too--the natural world that we know and love is
under attack and the people in power either don't believe it or don't care.

I try to counter their power with petitions and donations to various
groups. I also walk and pray! Now I'm feeling cynical and afraid. If the
Republicans win and they eliminate the few remaining protections for the
planet, then what?

The first peace, which is the most important, is that which comes within
the souls of people when they realize their relationship, their oneness
with the universe and all its powers, and when they realize that at the
center of the universe dwells the Great Spirit, and that this center is
really everywhere, it is within each of us.

Yes Penny. And the Republicans are likely to win (i hope not,but their propaganda machine is working overtime and they have most Christians in their back pocket and have fooled most regular folks into believing that they too can achieve the mythical american dream of achieving 1% financial status. ... And they seem to have no aversion to blatant lies.

Yet, in a way, all the national drama is really a diversion and distraction really from the real work that should be happening locally in each or our neighborhoods and communities... So, more than ever it is up to us at local levels to restructure our relationships with our earth and our relationships with all other species.

I love the Black Elk quote. If only we all had that philosophical relationship with our planet and all the other species we share the planet with.

How can we love all children of all species for all time? could be our guiding mantra.

I offer this quote from William Blake: "All that lives is holy."
