Eric and all,I've shown things like this to my classes before. I will show this tomorrow and ask them how they think this situation will impact them and their communities now and in the future.Are there better survey questions to ask them?What would you want to ask them? Suggestions please.I'll let you know how they respond.The really shocking thing about this is that, in the past, my students and, I would guess, most middle class and lower believe that "the American dream" will save them. They think they will climb themselves into or close to the 1%. So this skewed distribution is of little concern to them in their myopic worldview logic of rugged individual separation, self-centeredness, scarcity and competition. It's not our fault. It's our conditioning.jim
