Seeking a .NET developer for our client in the public sector -
Responsibilities:
5+ years of professional experience in ASP.NET, HTML, HTML5/CSS3, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery
Fluent in .NET 3.5/4.0, ASP.NET (C# and VB)
Strong demonstrated experience developing web-based applications with the Microsoft .NET framework and with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 is required
Familiarity with developing reports using SQL-Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Experience with MVC, Entity Framework
Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) experience
Experience designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting applications and changes according to requirements
Skilled at using web services based on SOAP, XML and JSON
Expertise in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010/2012
Experience in Unit Testing using MSTest & TFS 2010
Experience using mobile technologies a plus
Experience with Telerik controls a plus
Experience with Microsoft BizTalK a strong plus
Experience within the financial services industry
Ability to work in a team environment on projects shared between multiple developers, as well as independently on assigned tasks and projects
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with the following also desired:
Design patterns (e.g. Abstract Factory, Factory Method, Singleton, etc.)
Team Foundation Server 2010
Experience working on an agile team
