Position : Sr Java Developer

Location : Glastonbury/Hartford CT

Duration : 3-6 Months

Required: 

-          Minimum of 4-5+ years of hands-on Java and web application development experience

-          Solid understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and software development best

practices

-          Some experience with the Java 5 Enterprise stack (JSF, EJB, JPA, Seam) is required

-          Strong SQL knowledge and database development (MySQL 5.x is a major plus)

-          Front end development experience such as JSP and JavaScript (JSF and IceFaces preferred)

-          Experience using build tools such as Maven and Ant

-          Understanding of IOC / dependency injection frameworks

-          Apache and JBoss 4.x, 5.x application servers

-          Proven ability to work independently at designing, developing and delivering solutions

-          Relevant academic degree in computer science or a quantitative field

-          Excellent written and verbal communication skills
