The core responsibilities of the Sr. Java Developer are to:
• Analyze, design, build, document and test Java applications.
• Applying design concepts – layered architectures, components, interfaces, messaging and patterns for enterprise solutions.
• Following department coding standards with write well documented programs that perform effectively and efficiently.
• Work in an Agile environment and be able to respond to changes quickly.
• Work with team lead and business users to assure product quality.
• Help determine how technology can be applied to the business needs.
• Gather and implement requirements, and test their implementation.
Required:
• 5+ years experience developing, deploying and supporting complex computing applications in an enterprise environment.
• Experience developing and architecting object-orientated applications using Java technologies.
• Experience designing RESTful web services.
• Experience working with relational database technologies, specifically MySQL or SQL Server.
• Experience with Spring Framework and Hibernate.
