Position : Networking Consultant

Location : Houston, TX

Duration : 6-12 Months

Demonstrated Experience with the following:

• Experience with Citrix Netscaler (CCP-N)
• Experience with installation, management and administration of Checkpoint firewalls
• Monitoring of key security events
• Must have a comprehensive understanding of security vulnerabilities, access control, ports and protocols
• Experience administering AAA and 2FA solutions
• Experience administering Proxy, SIEM, and Gateway technologies
• Experience with SSL VPN devices
• Experience with syslog and security log analysis
• Experience with email security/filtering technologies
• Experience with virus and Malware protection technologies
• Experience with security related to mobile devices
• Work with other Marathon IT teams to assist in troubleshooting and resolving incident tickets
• Create and maintain documentation related to perimeter security activities/processes
• Ability to provide 24x7 support including on-call rotation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT related field, or extensive experience in IT Security
• CISSP, CCP-N, firewall, proxy, or SIEM certifications and/or other relevant security certifications highly desired
• At least five (5) years performing duties similar to those listed in the Overview section above
• Experience working in an oil and gas setting
• Effectively work in a team environment and possess strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to direct resources across multiple disciplines.
• Exceptional problem analysis and resolution skills
• Committed to maintaining accurate and complete written documentation
• Experience working with both internal and external resources
