Support and technical leadership for development of multiple web, mobile, and desktop applications. Interface with management, business analysts, project managers, IT Architects and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Work closely with software architects to ensure decisions meet long term enterprise growth needs

·         Maintain current applications which includes, but is not limited to, bug fixes, feature enhancements and performance tuning

·         Troubleshoot and debug complex issues; Identify and implements solutions.

·         Lead and mentor less senior developers

·         Works with product managers, product owners, end users, graphic designers and developers to wireframe, design and implement interactive designs for new product applications, as well as optimizing and rethinking application features and UI flow for multiple applications

·         Work to optimize product UI design & flow that address' business, brand, market and user requirements.

·         Work with production operations department to ensure deployments roll out smoothly and customer group support is met

·         Research and implement new technologies to enhance current processes, security and performance

·         Document validation of design decisions

·         Develop and enforce policy and procedural changes within the development group

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS/Engineering/Technology or related field or equivalent experience and or training

·         10+ years total development experience

·         5+ years web application development experience

·         3+ years mobile application development experience

·         Experience with C#, XML, HTML, ASP.NET, JavaScript, AngularJS, CSS and other web and mobile development technologies

·         Comprehensive knowledge and understanding on leveraging cross browser, cross platform and cross device compatibility

·         Experience with implementing applications with standard UI Components and with connecting applications to back end services

·         Proven experience with JSON, REST, SOAP and other similar web services

·         Extensive knowledge of object oriented programming

Sr. Project Manager (Airline Exp is mandatory)

Location: Ft. Worth (Dallas) TX

Duration: 1 year

 

Description:

·         The successful applicant will be joining the American Airlines ITS Flight Operations Technology team. The individual will be responsible for the management of multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Among the required tasks, the individual will define scope, capture requirements, track and resolve project issues, and help to create and manage project schedules and budgets, all utilizing appropriate project management tools to meet project targets with minimal supervision.

·         The individual will have an understanding of SDLC (or DPaCE) and Agile project management methodologies in addition to basic project management principles with the technical expertise necessary to provide on-call support of the resulting products as needed. The individual will use business analysis techniques for gathering and documenting requirements, interviewing, facilitation, system component design, spend tracking, testing, and implementation. The individual will be required to interact as necessary with senior management to help set project direction and determine project prioritization. The person will work collaboratively with customer and user groups, technical leads, development resources, engineers and architects, and external project teams. The individual will track progress and provide project status reports according to the information needs of the stakeholders including, at times, executive level staff. Finally, the successful applicant will be expected to build effective working relationships with customers, vendors, and ITS colleagues at all levels in order to maintain clear and open communication channels, to manage expectations, and to work together to achieve challenging goals.

 

Qualifications:

·         The individual must be self-directed and have a thorough knowledge of IT project life cycles, particularly SDLC (or DPaCE), and formal business analysis techniques. The individual must possess strong organization, planning, interpersonal, and negotiating skills, with the ability to communicate precisely and clearly, both orally and in writing, with people at all levels with a strong command of the English language. Strong experience gathering and documenting complex system requirements, technical specifications, and developing detailed system diagrams is a requirement. Experience and a full understanding of failover/failback, disaster recovery and mirroring concepts and experience delivering mission-critical applications in a high-availability environment is preferred.

·         Thorough knowledge of Cognos, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Project, MS Access, MS SQL Server (or MS Access), Sabre HTE, MS PowerPoint is required. Experience delivering in-house and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications is preferred. The individual must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize, and manage changes and customer expectations in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, estimating, and problem solving skills are needed, along with accuracy and attention to detail.

·         A broad understanding of flight operations processes (such as flight planning, movement control, aircraft communications), both at American Airlines and throughout the industry, is strongly preferred. PMP certification is a plus.

·         24X7 on-call support may be required at various times. Some travel domestically and internationally is required.

 

 

PROJECT MANAGER

POSITION PURPOSE:

Lead project team(s) through all phases of technology projects, including requirements definition, planning, development, and implementation. Responsible for management and reporting on assigned projects, utilizing standards, methods, and techniques employed by Technologies.

Job Description

·         Reporting to the Manager Information Security, the successful candidate will work as a member of and provide operational support for AA Credit Union Information Security department. This position will emphasize user interaction and requires a reasonable level of technical knowledge. The Information Security Analyst will perform in the following ways:

·         Audit and monitor production system logs for unauthorized transactions and intrusions.

·         Assist in performing security risk assessments and disaster recovery/business continuity planning.

·         Assist in the development, implementation, and ongoing administration of the company's information security policies, procedures, and guidelines and related documentation.

·         Provide analysis and recommendations for information security configuration to IT Project Managers.

·         Perform administrative functions to complete required tasks including recording issues into tracking system, checking voicemail/email, and documenting processes and issues.

·         Actively promote security awareness programs within the company.

·         On-call work (24x7) is required to respond to critical issues outside of business hours and some limited business travel is required.

·         Provide detailed verbal and written communication to management and peers.

·         Manage multiple projects with competing priorities including leading projects to install new security applications and technologies.

·         Other duties as assigned.

·         Candidate must ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all account information and Credit Union documents, data, and assets. ·         Understanding of industry best practices including ISO 17799/13335, NIST, COBIT, SANS, etc.

·         Experience developing, implementing and communicating security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.

·         Subject matter expertise (3+ years experience) in at least two technology-related disciplines; intrusion detection, antivirus, data loss protection, access controls, perimeter security, internet filtering, LDAP systems, Active Directory, Exchange, MS SQL, etc.
