Position: AUTOSAR Developer

Location-TRW Livonia, MI

Duration-6 months.

 

Responsibilities:

Design and development of the AUTOSAR based projects.

Software tasks and deliverable throughout the entire software lifecycle including, but not limited to, requirements software design, coding, unit testing, and defect resolution.   Follow a defined software process to ensure good quality and documentation as per SPICE or CMMI requirements. 

Based on system requirements perform detailed software specification, design and development of complex safety critical features. 

Configuration management:  Check work on regular basis and create baseline for all major releases. 

Tracking:  Raise new open issues.  Keep track and bring to closure assigned open issues. 

Documentation:  Issue release notes for all relevant baselines, Software Development Plan, Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), Design, Source code and Software Quality Assurance Plan.

 

Technical Skill set:

Overall 5 – 6 years of experience in automotive embedded software development and testing.

Automotive domain knowledge: One or more of Airbags, Braking, Steering, Power Train, Body Control, Driver Assist systems etc

AUTOSAR - Must have 2 + years of Hands-on development experience in AUTOSAR layers (Application, RTE, BSW)

Experience in development of AUTOSAR compliant SW architecture, Application SW components & interfaces

Experience in development of AUTOSAR Compliant BSW (Communication, System Services, Diagnostic Services, Memory)

Experience in Configuring/Integrating the AUTOSAR BSW Stack

Experience in Generating RTE, Integration of Application with BSW.

Experience in migrating legacy non-AUTOSAR software to AUTOSAR

Safety: Experience in safety mechanisms (Program flow monitoring, memory partitioning, time partitioning, E2E protection) is highly preferred.

Experience in AUTOSAR tools like EB TRESOS, Vector Davinci, SystemDesk, AUTOSARBuilder

Excellent knowledge of Protocols: SPI, CAN, Flexray, Unified Diagnostic services (UDS)

Experience in Configuration and Change management tools (MKS, PVCS, or equivalent).

Ability to understand hardware schematics

Knowledge of requirement tools (DOORS) and issue tracking systems.
