Job Title: Middle Ware configuration/Server Administrator

Location: Atlanta, GA

Long Term Position

Job Description:

·         Employees in this position are primarily responsible for the application deployments, install & configure middle ware and databases and assist in trouble shooting production issues related to application.

 

Required Skills:

·         6 plus years of experience in deploying Java applications with Glassfish or Websphere or JBOSS, Tomcat or something similar.

·         Install and configure Web servers such as Apache, IBM HTTP Server and Sun One Web Server on Linux, Windows and AIX servers.

·         Knowledge of Java or web development using Java

·         Install and configure application servers such as Glassfish, WebSphere, Jboss and Tomcat on Linux, Windows and AIX servers. 

·         Install and configure database engines such as MYSQL, DB2, Oracle and MS SQL on Linux, Windows and AIX servers

 

(Optional).

·         At least has 3 plus years of experience and knowledge in SQL and have used one or more of the database engines listed.

·         Strong experience in Linux Operating System

·         Experience in shell scripting

·         Patch, deploy and backup JAVA applications. Assist internal and external customers with software deployments and upgrades.

·         Participate in weekend and off-hours maintenance.

·         Participate (on a rotating basis) 24/7 support.
