Job Description
Highly motivated, self-starter and team player, responsible for all aspects of Web Development, including understanding business requirements, designing technical solutions, implementation and maintenance.
Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:
• Developing desktop and mobile applications.
• Experience with Agile environment.
• Strong experience developing applications in Java/J2EE technologies, Spring Frameworks (any latest WEB MVC frameworks), AJAX, Web Services (REST/SOAP), CSS.
• Good knowledge in Design Patterns like MVC, Abstract Factory, Business Delegate, Singleton, DataAccess Object
• Expertise in deploying applications Apache and Tomcat 4.0/5.0/5.5, 6.0, Jetty (or any relevant application servers)
• Experience in developing test cases, performing Unit Testing, Integration Testing, JUnit.
• Experience using version control such as SVN & GIT (Good to have GIT work flow knowledge)
• Hands-on, Client-side Web Development experience in a professional environment
• Advanced understanding of standard client-side development technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS2.1/3, jQuery
• Developing solutions for business problems
• Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions
• Curiosity and excitement for new web technologies
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
