Job Description:
Position: Business Intelligence HADOOP Big Data Developer = 2 NEEDED
We need Senior and/or strong mid level Big Data (Hadoop is a must) Developers with 5+ years of experience. They also need to have (at a very minimum) familiarity with one of the Hadoop Distributions. The ideal tool is Hortonworks, but any other distribution will be OK.
These Developers will be part of the team that will:
· Centralize repositories and reporting
· Implementing a short-term data and analytics solution (around 6 months) while creating the long term vision.
· Focus on big data, cloud, open source, minimum viable product.
Our Must Have List
· Heavy Hadoop ecosystem experience
· Hortonworks Distribution = BIG BONUS
· BS in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field preferred
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
