Position/Skills required:  Java develoepr

Duration:   6 months; possible extensions        

Location:  Pittsburgh

Qualifications:

• Team leadership, both SDLC and client
• Working with a wide array of business and IT management to analyze, design and develop system architecture using J2EE design patterns
• Creating technical documentation, including system architecture and design, use case diagrams, sequence diagrams and class diagrams
• Developing web applications utilizing Java technologies, frameworks and tools such as Servlets, JSF, Struts, Wink, Spring and Hibernate
• Developing an application's user interface using JSPs, AJAX, JSON and JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks
• Development with JavaScript frameworks, such as AngularJS, jQuery, and/or Dojo
• Writing REST based web services
• Integrating disparate enterprise applications and data sources leveraging SOA principles

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES

• Education – Graduate (or Bachelor's) degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related degree

• Experience – 5+ years of professional experience in similar role
• Specialized Knowledge (preferred previous experience)  –
• Implementing Responsive Web Design
• Mobile application development
• Led projects in an Agile environment/SCRUM Master
• Experience with Dev Ops – continuous integration, performance management tools
• Leveraging or implementing a CMS or ECM

 

• Additional Qualifications –
• Clear and professional written and verbal communications skills with presentation and facilitation skills
• Demonstrated professional interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a project team
• Collaborative professional style
• Client communication experience in a consulting role is a plus
