Job Description:
The Telematics Security Engineer will develop embedded controller and offboard server to embedded controller interface security solutions. The scope of work includes the application of core architecture and detailed software requirement specifications on tier 1 supplier Telematics solutions. The selected candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of security solutions for embedded telematics controller application frameworks, connectivity managers, hardware trust anchors and in-vehicle communication interfaces by the tier 1 suppliers. The Security Engineer may also develop and maintain security threat models and end-to-end validation strategies and will maintain industry expertise on leading best practices and solutions for telematics security.
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering, as accredited by ABET or ABET equivalent (other undergraduate level technical degrees in the specific area of relevant specialty expertise may be considered) Master's degree in Engineering, as accredited by ABET or ABET equivalent (other graduate level technical degrees in the specific area of relevant specialty expertise may be considered)
-Minimum of 8 years of total work experience, with a minimum 6 years applying specialty expertise Demonstrated potential to direct, teach, lead and inspire
-Highly effective at communicating technical issues -- both verbally and written
-Demonstrated depth and breadth of knowledge in an area of expertise that can be applied directly to the company's needs, now and in the foreseeable future

Job Description:
Research, develop and design server based security solutions and corresponding embedded controller interfaces from architecture to detailed software requirement specifications for tier 1 supplier Telematics solutions. Responsible for design and execution of NAFTA market security solutions for Service Delivery Platform (SDP), IT backend servers, interfaces between the vehicle and backend servers and between backend servers, application frameworks and via-mobile applications. Interface with internal IT organizations, internal cyber security organizations and SDP suppliers from all major regional markets to establish global security strategies and requirements specifications. Develop and maintain SDP security threat models and SDP validation strategies. Maintain industry expertise on leading best practices and solutions for SDP security.

• Any Graduate with minimum 5 years' experience working on ESRI GIS and experience on Software testing.
Required Skills:
• Hands-on skills working on ESRI products - ArcGIS Desktop, Geodatabase & ArcGIS Server version 9.3.1 and up
• Experience in Manual Testing (System Testing and Data Validation)
Preferred Skills:
• Experience working in Utilities

• Log defects in the environment setup for this purpose and track close of all defects in final deliverables
• Follow SDLC processes defined in the project
• Participate in defect triage calls with developers, users and SMEs
• Participate in customer and team meetings and create project documentation
• Liaise with customer contact points and offshore testing team for appropriate knowledge sharing, query resolution, status reporting, etc.
• Maintain project artifacts as per the defined configuration management process using appropriate configuration management tool.
