The server engineering group is looking for a senior Java engineer with a proven track record of developing REST style web services for a distributed computing environment. If you are looking to work for a dynamic server organization developing cloud solutions that directly drives customer experience, then you are at the right place.

Here is what you'll get to do:

• Build web services for Next-Generation Advanced Television Products
• Prototype new features using latest open-source technologies
• Benchmarking server APIs for performance and scalability
• Lead the team through agile development
• Interface with the leading content providers in the media industry to ingest program catalogs
• Build infrastructure to deploy TV applications

Here is what you'll need to be successful:

• At least 8+ years of experience in developing server software
• At least 5 years of direct hands-on experience in developing scalable REST web services to support large client base
• Strong Java, Hibernate, Spring, Apache, Tomcat, Memcache, MySQL experience to develop services on Linux platform
• Experience in building and deploying applications on public Cloud infrastructure
• Experience with Spring boot, Docker, Openstack, AWS is highly desirable
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Experience in working with Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM, XP
• Proficient in scripting languages (Python preferred)
• BS in computer science or Engineering, or equivalent experience required
