Position: VBA Programmer / Architect
Location: Richmond VA
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Description:
Responsibility
- Working in a project team, responsible for the design, development and administration of Analytical/Operational data constructs/structures with user-friendly Excel/VB GUI (Involve complex financial data calculation). Included within those responsibilities are the areas of data access and delivery technologies.
- Includes expertise in data quality, data organization, metadata, and data profiling.
- Demonstrated ability to move data between production systems and across multiple platforms
==== Skillsets required (Core) =====
- Require Advanced VBA coding skill and 4+ years experience developing VBA/excel based user application
- 3+ years experience with Financial Services clients (Capital One Experience preferred)
- Experience with major querying tools desired
- Ability to communicate strategies and processes around data modeling and architecture to cross functional groups and senior levels
==== Skillsets required (Nice to Have) =====
- Teradata, VBA/Excel and UNIX 4+ years experience
- Coordinating others work while involved with multiple work streams
- Ability to influence multiple levels on highly technical issues and challenges
