Web API Developer with .net and java exp
Location: Broomfield, CO
Responsibilities:
• Designing and developing, RESTful API's, prototypes, or proofs of concepts (POC's)
• Rigorously applying technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems
• 80-90% hands-on coding in creation of new APIs
Qualifications
• API developer who is comfortable working on Microsoft .NET stack and Java/J2EE
• 6+ years' OOP, preferably C#, with strong design skills
• 6+ years' experience designing, prototyping and developing web or mobile applications
• C#, ASP.NET, MVC or better, Java/Node.js, AngularJS, mocking framework
• Familiar with databases like SQL Server and Oracle.
• Deep understanding of the software design and architecture process, concept to implementation
• Experience developing, maintaining, and innovating large-scale, consumer-facing web or mobile applications, displaying an understanding of the development challenges inherent with highly scalable and available web applications
• 3+ years' creating web services and APIs, (REST or SOAP)
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Agile, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are a required due to the dynamic nature of discussions and collaborations with other engineering and product teams
