Job Title: Sr. QA Analyst Positon

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota

Duration: 6+ months

Rate: $40/hr on C2C

 

This is more high level. We are looking at someone that must have –

1.       T-SQL experience

2.       Data testing

3.       White box testing

4.       SQL queries – able to read and write queries for the testing.

5.       Manual testing

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Partnering with the Information Technology team, this position is responsible for assuring the application software systems produced meet the business expectations, and for following company standards and processes in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) compliance.

 

The Candidate for this position will work on a cross-functional team made up of developer, project managers, product management and design team. The ideal candidate should have at least 6 to 8 years of results driven, solid experience, where most of that time is spent actively test planning and test execution.  The candidate should have extensive experience in data testing.

 

Duties / Responsibilities:

•          Work closely with Quality Assurance, Business Analyst, Architects and developers to understand user stories

•          Provide estimates for User Story testing tasks during product planning

•          Creates and maintains test plans, test cases, traceability matrix and various testing checklists

•          Execute software test cases and validate back-end database writes

•          Create, verify and close defects based on defect tracking process.

•          Work well with all functional and cross-functional team members

•          Reviews test results with project stakeholders

•          Reports test status and issues to manager in a timely fashion

•          Work well with all Regression Test Team to design regression test cases

•          Provide work estimates based on feature scope
