Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Primary Skills:
1. Provides daily OneConnect education and support to end users
a. Primary point of contact for a given unit, department, or practice
b. Provides technical education and support to end users during regular rounding or one-on-one instruction
c. Provides operational and technical expertise to application implementation
d. Participates in departmental/service line projects
e. Traveling between locations and provide off-shift support as needed
f. As assigned, provide support during on-call hours
2. Partners and communicates with assigned customers and end users
a. Educates end users with the appropriate path for issue resolution
b. Includes others in decision-making when appropriate
c. Work well in a team setting
d. Applies sound, independent judgements based on available information
e. Follows-up on customer issues with quick, accurate resolutions and updates
f. Develops trust and relationships with customers
3. Participates in problem identification and resolution activities
a. Provides guidance and expertise to end users and other team members related to assigned applications
b. Provides end user testing and validation of content and workflow
c. Assists managers and/or users in problem identification
d. Identifies applicable teams required for resolution
4. Maintains expertise in assigned applications and departmental workflows
a. Participates in committee meetings as appropriate to maintain working knowledge of institutional operations and needs
b. Maintains level of competency through continuing system education, including multiple OneConnect applications
c. Learns clinical/operational workflows that surround OneConnect users
d. Keeps abreast of current and emerging technology in both hardware and software
e. Actively seeks constructive feedback and remains receptive to it
5. Provides OneConnect support for Go-Lives and organizational initiatives
a. Provides optimization support and/or participates in optimizations projects
b. Attends all regularly scheduled project and team meetings
c. Leads one-on-one sessions, classroom training and efficiency sessions
d. Assesses and recommends OneConnect build and workflow improvements
Experience Required: 3+ experience working with Epic software in outpatient clinic workflows, including use of EpicCare Ambulatory.
Preferred: Experience in an academic healthcare setting. Functional experience as a subject matter expert, super user, credentialed trainer, analyst (clinical, financial, or other). Dragon system training experience a plus. Experience using Epic modules for Cadence, Radiant, Prelude, EpicCare Inpatient Orders / ClinDoc a plus.
