Necessary Skills

Java : Core Java, J2EE, Spring 3.0, Applet, Swings, Hibernate
Scripts : AJAX, Java Script, JQuery
Web Services : SOAP, JAXB, WSDL
Web Technologies : HTML, CSS, JSTL, XML, DOM
Databases : MySQL, Orcale 11g

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Design, development and implementation of web applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
2. Proficient in developing applications using Spring framework, JQuery, JSTL, Hibernate and Web Services.
3. Experience in various aspects of SDLC, Agile methodologies, good understanding of Object Oriented Design and Analysis (OOAD) concepts.
4. Active participation in functional requirement gathering and the design discussions with client.
5. Carrying out estimations of new change requests coming in from client.
6. Designing and drafting the Low-level technical design document.
7. End to end development of modules, development of the front end (UI), business logic and various reusable components.
8. Deployment of applications across various environments.
9. Mentoring team members functionally and technically.
