VM Ware Consultant

 

Description

 

·         Desirable to start as soon as possible.

·         Must have 1-3 years Strong NetApp experience. Must be able to manage NFS, CIFS, FC and iSCSI Volumes.

·         Extensive experience in VMware 5.0 and up. Experience upgrading ESXi and vCenter desirable.

·         Extensive windows experience in 2003 and 2008 R2.

·         Background in databases desirable.

·         Cisco UCS/FlexPod experience desirable.

 

Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Systems Administrator capabilities with 1-4 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
