Title:                     UI Developer

Location:             Johns Creek, GA

Duration:             6+ months

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- 6 plus years' experience in web, application, and data driven web and mobile site development. 
- Expertise in coding of new features as well as maintenance and defect fixes in existing code in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, 'strict mode', Maven, Jquery, JSLINT and JSON FTL for Desktop, tablet, and mobile. 
- Development Tools include SOAPUI, SQL Developer, and HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript using Jquery Mobile 1.1, SASS and JSON. 
- Daily code development, testing and debugging, SCRUM meetings, and planning and task management using Rally or JIRA Admin were routine. 
- Experienced 3D animator and CGI environment designer, Photoshop expert with experience in print and web design media.
- Excellent planning and communication skills including proficient writing, Word, Excel 
- Expertise in kiosk development including hardware, software, and interface needs for projects.
- Extensive use and knowledge of browser display and compatibility problems in web application development, Social media marketing: Facebook, Twitter, FlickR and LinkedIn.

Critical skills needed:
- HTML(5)
- CSS 2/3
- JavaScript
- Pure or raw composition
- jQuery
- jQueryUI
- Angular.js, Express.js, or backbone.js
- Basic Adobe Photoshop (CS6, CC) skills
- Experience generating & parsing JSON and/or XML
- Responsive design and/or SPA (single page applications)
- Advanced debugging skills (i.e. Firebug, JSFiddle, WebStorm, or browser-based developer tools)
- Practitioner of web performance optimization techniques (i.e. lazy-load assets, splitting JS, background workers, minimizing HTTP requests, compressing external files, image compression)
-Experienced using Subversion for Source Control
