Business Objects Developer

Bartlesville, OK, United States

$55-60/hr

Requisition Details:

The Business Objects developer may be responsible for building reports in Web Intelligence and for designing universes. The Business Objects developer will model, build, and maintain

universes that will be used by customers to build Web Intelligence reports under a "self service" reporting model.

- Ability to lead the BI strategy for a large SAP Finance reporting project.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Modeling and building universes based on business requirements, best practices and standards;

creation of functional and technical design specifications

- Maintaining universes for operational break/fix issues and enhancements

- Testing of reports against universes and database connections

- Working on a large project where several new universes will be created and then must be supported

- Work with business analysts to understand requirements

- Build Webi Reports using XI 3.1 or BI 4.x according to business requirements

- Unit test reports in preparation for UAT

- Dashboard Design & Development

- Exporsure to BI 4.x tools and functionality

- Ability to think outside of the box to find solutions on how to report against complex data.
