Position : Java Programmer 
Location : Jefferson City MO
Duration : 6 Months

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
The Java Developer will assist in conversion of existing Oracle Forms 6i application using
thrid party tools to Java. The tasks will also include implementation of a new user
interface via Java Enterprise Edition, and will extend the existing back in Java
infrastructure. the Java Developer will:
Collaborate with other development and integration team members to ensure Java
technologies are properly implemented and maintained
Design, develop and document web services interfaces and Java modules using standard
methodology best practices (Agile)
Create and maintain application software documentation (scope requirements, logical
designs, technical designs, testing plans, etc.)
Develop client software to consume already published web services
Develop business logic using Java/J2EE technologies and publish them as Web Services
Analyze technical and business requirements to help define the scope of Java
development initiatives and serve as a technical resource for sound development
and integration practices
Demonstrate commitment to providing customer-focused quality service
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in Java/J2EE development
Oracle Forms 6i
Preferred Experience
Java certifications are preferred
Experience in Government projects is a plus
