Net developer with Amalga Platform.

Location – Barrington, IL or Seattle, WA.

Duration – 12 months with option to extend as needed

 

 

Essential Functions (Responsibilities): 

 

Be part of key design solutions for building and maintaining solutions based on Caradigm's Amalga Platform.

The Amalga contractor will 

·         Participate  in  the  prototype,  specification,  design,  development,  testing,  and  maintenance  of   various Amalga instances.

·         Require the knowledge  and  interpersonal  skills  necessary  to  interface  and  integrate  existing  healthcare  information  technology  products  for  the  purpose  of  improving  clinician  workflow  and  patient  quality  of  life.  Any previous experience on Software Re-factoring is desirable

·         The Amalga contractor will also be responsible for working with key technical leaders from across the business in driving innovative software solutions for Amalga platform.

·         Further the contractor will interface with team members, participate in technical reviews, generate formal presentations, develop code and design solutions besides documenting the same.

·         Must be able to work with global teams and translate requirements, understand design and execution progress with teams in other global locations. 

 

Qualifications/Requirements: 

 

*Bachelor's  degree  in  engineering  (Computer Science/Engg preferred)  and  a  minimum  of  5  years  product  development  experience.
*  5 years' experience  in  C#/.Net  programming
*  Experience  in  capturing  and  developing  detailed  requirements
*  Experience  in  developing  web  applications
*  Experience  in  using  object-oriented  analysis  and  design  (OOAD)  techniques 
*  Demonstrated ability to work  in a global team

* 2 years' experience with Caradigm's Amalga Version 2.0 platform

* Experience working with relational databases

 

 

Desired: 

·         Masters degree

·         Experience with Caradigm's Amalga Version 3.0 platform

·         Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint platform

·         Experience  with  HL7  messaging

·         Experience  in  user  interface  development  technologies  (XHTML/CSS,  Ajax)

·         Experience in the Healthcare Information Technology space
