Position: QA Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 11 Months contract

 

Qualifications:

Note: We prefer local candidates who can come for in-person interview

 

As a member of the Development Quality Team, you will work with business and systems teams to define, design, document and execute functional and regression tests to ensure new applications and enhancements to existing applications meet functional requirements.

 

 Primary Responsibilities:

·         building test automation strategies and capacity planning for performance testing tool supported hardware

·         Proof of concept with new version of HP Test tools and defining and executing the rollout strategy

·         Administration of HP performance center, Windows 2003 and 2008

·         Web service testing tool configuration and support projects

 

 Education and Experience:

·         Must have lead experience

·         College degree: B.S. in a computer-related field is preferred

 

Skills and Knowledge:

·         Experience in QTP 11 - min 2yrs

·         Experience in HP Performance Center administration 11 -  min 1 yr

·         Knowledge in Caliber RM - min 0.5 yrs

·         Knowledge in web services testing, HP Service Testing - min 1 yr

·         Win 2003, 2008 administration - min 3 yrs

·         Quality Center exp - 4 yrs

·         Exp in building test automation strategies and capacity planning for performance testing tool supported hardware - min 5 yrs

 

·         Ability to multi-task, manage time and priorities, and meet scheduled deadlines

·         Team player with a talent for problem solving and troubleshooting

·         High level of attention to detail

·         Knowledge of SQL and experience with various vendor database products. Demonstrates good understanding of the test processes and defines test strategies / plans or         approaches for projects

 

 

·         3+ years of experience. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

·         Working in Agile Environment (Should already be there but just in case its not)

 

Required Qualifications:

·         Manual Testing - Test Management Tool - Quality Center          

·         Automation Testing - HP Quick Test Professional         

·         Automation Testing - Automation Test Design

 

Other Required Qualifications/Experience

·         Back End Testing           

·         Front End Testing          

·         HP Performance Center 11 Administration      

·         HP Service testing, web service testing               

·         Caliber RM        

·         Performance Testing Tool h/w Capacity planning
