Parramore Community Prayer March & Press Conference

In the days leading up to the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington, the PICO Lifelines to Healing Campaign is launching multiple bus tours from across the nation to spread a message of faith, justice, and the value of ALL lives.

With the highest incarceration rate in the world and the highest gun homicide rate in the industrialized world, we have much redemptive work to do in this country. And with a disproportionate number of African-American and Latino families losing their lives and their freedom, we have much to do in order to fulfill King's Dream!

Meet Us or Join Along the Way to Pray!

WHEN: Tuesday, August 20th at 3:30pm
WHERE: In God's Time Tabernacle of Jesus (436 S. Parramore Ave.)
WHY: (To unite, pray, and put faith into action in the Parramore Community)

Pastors and members from the Parramore community are uniting to pray for their community and to act in direct response to the outcry following the unjust killing of Trayvon Martin and other racial disparities that exist between Dr. King's dream and the realities of being a person of color in 2013 in Orlando and cities across the U.S. Leaders will hold a press conference, march through the community in united prayer, and join PICO National Network's Lifelines to Healing Campaign National Bus Tour to build awareness and celebrate this historical event.
