DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of one Enterprise Architect 2, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of ITSAC Enterprise Architect 2 Category, Emerging Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for the Office of the Attorney General (OAG).
All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the OAG. OAG may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. OAG will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s).
The Worker will be responsible for providing leadership and direction on large scale enterprise systems. Knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques of design, development, testing, database management, conversion, integration, optimization, capacity planning, IT operations, IT governance and principles, project control, estimating techniques, and vendor management is required.
II. WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:

| 8 | Experience delivering large scale enterprise architecture/applications of $50M or more and translating business requirements into specific process designs, systems, and applications. |
8 | Experience working with multiple vendors in delivering large scale applications. |
8 | Experience delivering large scale enterprise applications utilizing 10+ vendor COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) products as well as custom code. |
8 | Experience with enterprise architecture methods and tools including technical designs, software and hardware configuration management. |
8 | Experience with software development processes and methods including change management and build and deploy for 10+ vendor COTS products. |
8 | Experience with database administration using DB2. |
8 | Experience with interfaces and integration from internal and external data sources. |
8 | Experience with large scale data conversion of 10TB or more. |
8 | Experience with IT operations, server and application monitoring, |
8 | Experience with testing strategies for large scale enterprise applications of $50M or more. |
8 | Experience with IT governance and principles including ITIL, program management, and project management. |
Preferences:

| 2 | Experience with database administration using MS SQL Server. |
| 2 | Working knowledge of accessibility standards and assistive technologies. |
