SOA Test Lead Job Description:

 

·         Overall 6 to 8 years of testing experience.

·         At least 3 years of experience in SOA Testing with Web services and Message Queues

·         Ability to understand the various SOA Testing types related to Functional or Non-Functional activities or both.

·         Should be able to prepare the Individual test strategy for the Functional or Non-Functional SOA testing activities and prepare High-level test scenarios.

·         Ability to plan / strategize different tests like Functional, Load, Compliance Tests etc. with one or more tools like, SOAP UI, CA (Itko) Lisa..

·         Ability to prepare and analyze the test coverage reports using SOA Test Tools.

·         Ability to build automation frameworks with the tools, like implementing Data Driven Framework, Chained calls, assertions etc.

·         Ability to integrate Testing tools with Test Management tools

·         Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action. Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems.

·         Responsible for test requirements elicitation, test case development, modifications / enhancements, test case review, test execution, reporting bugs and test bed issues.

·         Escalate risks to PM, monitor adherence to all milestones and assist the Test Manager in preparing final test report.

·         Work on problems of complex scope, through extensive usage of standard concepts and principles
