Jr. Web Developer (LAMP/PHP) Developer 

Duration: 6+ months, but there is potential of extension. 

 Location: Dublin, Ohio

 

Top Skills to look for:

1.       HTML- Ability to develop web pages (JavaScript, PHP)

2.       SQL- General SQL skills (both Leads have very deep knowledge in this area, and can assist if needed, but autonomous work is preferred)

3.       AJAX- Advanced knowledge in this area, including understanding of connection screens

4.       Core Perl/ Shell Scripting as well as general knowledge of Linux and Windows Administration/ Infrastructure….

5.       They also stated a LAMP/ PHP Developer may be the ideal type of candidate they're looking for

This position is within the Capacity and Performance Management/ Reporting area, so familiarity with IT Infrastructure is a huge plus.

In terms of day to day work, this position will entail:

·       Batch/ Automated data feeds come in from difference sources and goes into a SQL Database.  Candidate will need to know how to run jobs, if the jobs failed or succeeded

·         Web Development will be the bulk of this position- They're moving from Capacity 1.0 environment to Capacity 2.0.  Candidate will need to be able to look @ the Capacity Web Pages and Make updates, as well as construct new pages. 

Skills they'll need: HTML, JavaScript, PHP (for Server Side Processing), SQL queries, Jquery Widgets (Charts Tables, Sliders)

Rate wise, this is on the Junior level, but the Managers said that they're ideally looking for someone who is knowledgeable and has a willingness to learn/ ambitious drive. 

They're looking for more of a Programmer than a UI Developer.
