• Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of program oriented test efforts.
• Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the project/program test community to ensure testing activities are delivered on time, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
• Responsible for creating and managing an integrated program test schedule across all projects, directing and assisting Test Coordinators and Project Managers in evaluating and validating resource needs and testing schedules; defines minimum necessary entrance/exit criteria to test phases; develops program level communication plan and reporting mechanisms for testing; and escalating functional, quality, and/or schedule issues appropriately.
• Develops and manages the program level Test Strategy, securing buy-in from key stakeholders.
• Responsible for establishing and managing key program testing milestones and working with Test Coordinators and Project Managers to adjust project schedules and/or resources to meet the needs of customers. Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the test effort being managed.
• Assists Test Coordinators and Project/Program Manager(s) in identifying and prioritizing program level testing related risks and mitigation approaches to achieve the goals of the project.
• Conducts meetings and liaises with upstream & downstream systems to ascertain technical requirements from test perspective for both manual and automation testing.
• Ability to establish, maintain and strengthen working relationships with all levels of the organization and contribute in a team environment.
• Manages testing activities for a program of high complexity.
