Frontend UI developer

Location: California Bay Area 

Duration:  12+ Months

Rate: DOE

We are looking for a Frontend UI developer with a proven ability to develop and support applications using modern practices. The candidate will have experience developing high profile user facing products.

Required skills:

5+ years' experience in building interfaces for the web

Proficiency with front-end web technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery

Comfortable in writing object oriented and asynchronous JavaScript

Able to create semantic markup using HTML / HTML5 elements , create JavaScript libraries etc

Have an eye for subtle UI details

Experience creating responsive layouts

Engineer high-profile Object-Oriented JavaScript Frameworks

Experience with engineering MVC Design patterns

Proficiency with DOM Manipulation, Event Handling, Event Bubbling, Integration with Restful, WebServices

Must have experience with Source Version Controls (SVN, GIT etc) Can bash and GIT their way out of a paper bag

Must have experience with either one of these JavaScript frameworks such as:  Node.JS (or) Angular.JS (or) Backbone.JS (or) Ember.JS (or) Bootstrap.JS (or) Any other .JS frameworks

Handling browser compatibility issues, working on cross / multiple web browsers and mobile browsers like Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Opera  etc

Cross browser experience with iPad , response across devices , cross platform implementation – tablet Vs desktop.

Build web pages , modules and fix bugs / problems ( Eg: Navigation )

Participate in regular team meetings and code reviews

Experience with UNIX based manageability systems

Strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures, Algorithms and standard programming practices.

Excellent communication, collaboration skills and debugging skills

Education:  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
